Growing up, we didn't always have the money for the most fashion-forward clothing, and that feeling stuck with us. With the creation of Abel, our goal is to provide high quality garments that are actually affordable, while make our younger selves proud in the process.
Bennet Hall - OSU
The story of Abel began 4 years ago in a single-bed dorm room; C214 if I remember it correctly. It was not always screen printing. At our roots, we enjoyed doodling on shirts and tagging them with the word Abel as we saw fit. Our artistic abilities and drive for this so-called side hobby grew, and transformed into what became printing our designs on whatever we could get our hands on.
The Moral of Our Story
Although our brand doesn't have any direct ties to christianity, we pull moral concepts from the Story of Cane and Abel. The story goes that Cain and Abel both presented God with an offering. Abel offered God his very best, while Cain's offering was far from that. We intend to reflect the motion of Abel and offer you the best quality garments and community we can. It would be a betrayal to offer you anything less.
